Yoga is a wonderful way to open your child to the awareness of their place in the world. Each class will focus on a lesson or theme and will include creative yoga flow, breath work, games, stories, music, partner/group activities, visualization and relaxation. Through yoga, your child will develop strength, flexibility, self-confidence, balance, coordination, focus and discover the ability to feel calm.

Designed for the serious adventurer, students that sign up for this club are not just having fun in the trees, but also working towards being a ropes course guide - requiring a skills test and certification process - experience they can take with them. We expect participants to either already be belay-certified at Evergreen, or to at least have some experience climbing at Evergreen during which they demonstrated strong leadership skills as well as attention to climbing details. Belay-certified participants are also encouraged to participate in the volunteer belayer program during our Friday climbing wall club.
To the trees!
Instructors: Doug White, Evergreen Adventure Coordinator and Michael Kligerman, 4th grade associate
