Weekly note:

Hi parents,

We've got the newsletter into Spring mode. However, note the picture above, and keep in mind that we spend time outside in almost all dry weather--please keep up with our mountain springtime forecast and send your child dressed accordingly each day--especially the ones where the morning weather and the afternoon weather do not match!

Before March break, we put out the signups for a couple of clubs. We didn't get enough for the Art & Writing club, so that one's not happening. We are running Chess (one spot let) and Climbing (5 spots left) however, and those start this week. Dance is slated to start next week, but it needs a few more kids in order to run, so we opening that to all 3rd graders. Here are the full descriptions: Chess, Dance, and Climbing. The enrollments are already open in MSB Activities, and each description page has a direct enrollment link button.

Additionally, we are working on another possible club option to start later this month, in conjunction with Asheville Museum of Science. We may send a separate announcement about that later this week.

- James

FAQ of the Week

It's tax season--will I get a statement?

  • Nope. Not from us directly, anyway. All of your payment records are, however, in your MySchoolBucks account. Use the reports in MSB Activities rather than the order history in MSB Proper. And, if you need a statement to go along with your taxes, or an FSA or dependant care reimbursement request, you may use this letter.
