​Hi parents, ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

​

Two things to mention this week as we turn the Newsletter into Winter mode:

​

1. Even this time of year, we still spend plenty of time outside. Please send your children dressed for it! While we'll certainly shorten outside time as needed, the kids are still mostly better off out there than couped up in a classroom for 3+ hours. 

​

2. Evergreen's basketball team is starting practices this week. That's going to mean taking over the gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays through mid-February. On these days, especially when the weather is decent, expect us to do a lot more of moving sign out desk outside. On bad weather days when we also host games, expect us to move the sign-out desk to over near the art room (to the right of where you usually find us)​​​​​

FAQ of the Week​

If someone else is going to pick up my kids, do I just give them my PIN?

  • Preferably, no. A PIN is essentially a signature, and each adult picking up should have their own. While we're not too worried about one-off situations, anyone that will pick your child up regularly should be on your pickup list and have their own PIN. Advance communication is necessary for that--but if you have to send someone else unexpectedly, do one or both of these things: email James, and send the person with their ID and/or your purple or green placard. We can create PINs on the spot if we have permission!

EverAfter Payments​

  • All EverAfter fees are payable and due weekly through MySchoolBucks.

  • Invoices can be set up for automatic payment using the "Payment Options" button.

  • EverAfter enrollment information, pickup PINs, and payment records are in the SchoolBucks tangent site called MSB Activities.
