Weekly note:
Hi parents,
Is it Winter? Is it Spring? No one really knows.
But, we do still have to follow the calendar, so, please note that we are closed on Monday the 19th for the MLK holiday--make it is DAY ON! The following day, Tuesday the 20th, is a teacher work day for both Evergreen and Buncombe County Schools, so we will be offering all day care for all students. We sent an email out earlier this afternoon to those that are already signed up. If you didn't get that email, your child isn't signed up!
Another thing on the calendar this time of year is Evergreen's middle school basketball season. Many of you will have noticed the two recent Thursdays where we had home games--on these days, you can expect the sign out desk to be either out front of the gym if the weather is good, or moved to the doors over the right side of the gym (by the art room) when the weather isn't so nice.
Further out on the calendar, please note this about Evergreen's two week-long breaks in March and April:
March Break, March 2-6 Evergreen is closed, no school for the week, but EverAfter is OPEN and has all day care
In April, the traditional Spring Break, April 6-10, Evergreen, BCS, and EverAfter are all CLOSED entirely and no all day care is offered.
