Weekly note:
Hi parents,
Well, this is it, the last newsletter I am going to write!
I mentioned last week I would be letting you all know what I am doing next. Turns out, I'm not actually leaving! Not leaving Evergreen, anyway--I am going to join the 8th grade team! I may still be involved in Wolfpack Sports in some capacity, but we won't get that sorted until August. And I will still be here though the month of June, helping get one last edition of Evergreen Summer Adventures off the ground.
This is good news for me, as I will still get to be around and see your kids continue to grow! This is also good news for you, as you won't get so many emails from me anymore.
However, sending those emails instead will be the new EverAfter and Summer Adventures Director, Lauren Durr! Lauren will be moving into this role in my place starting in July, and will be who you hear from most as EverAfter enrollment for next year starts in late July or early June. Lauren is also an Evergreen parent, with rising 6th and 8th graders here, as well as a recent 2025 graduate.
Now, as promised, see below for ALL of the kids quotes from not just this year, but the last
- James
