Weekly note:
Hi parents,
Ok we are definitely allowed to count down days at this point. After today, we have 15 left!
This week, please remember that we are closing at 5PM on Thursday for the Evergreen Annual Meeting. We are also closed on Memorial Day this Monday. We are open every other day right up until and including the last day of school on June 10th.
Not much else to say regarding this year, so I may use this space in the last couple of newsletters to prepare for next year. One of those things will be to ensure the smoothest possible transition to next year's EverAfter crew. And, something I've been thinking about doing for a while is trying to increase the efficiency of the SchoolBucks sign-out system. On that topic, we have noticed in our almost 2 years using it is that some folks still don't regularly complete the sign-out process. We've been over this in newsletters' past--you're not done until the iPad thanks you!--so I am not going to rehash all of that here. What I may do a couple of times between now and June 10th though is send daily or weekly notices to parents whose kids were picked up without being signed out properly. So, if you get one of those notices, please read it!

FAQ of the Week
Is EverAfter open on Memorial Day, or any day after school is out?
-
Nope! Evergreen needs all of the breaks in the school calendar to attend to cleaning and campus projects that need to be done without the wee ones around. Other than the 5 weeks of Evergreen Summer Adventures, there is no childcare available at Evergreen between June 11 and the first day of school in August.
